It's not like they do it back in the US, but Halloween is indeed celebrated here (in certain neighborhoods.) We met up with a group of friends and hit a neighborhood heavily populated by Americans, who are making the dream of trick-or-treat happen in London. The neighborhood of St. Johns Wood was packed with costumed children, and it's right around the corner from us. We walked on over, met up with our party people, and then trick-or-treated our way home. Finishing off the night enjoying hot chocolate and some of the loot!
We threw together these costumes very last minute, unsure if we would even participate in the holiday this year. Sonja was a Genie, Stella- a witch, and Mimi's costume (flamenco dancer) was a fun find from our trip to Seville Spain last week.
